Alaska Zoo Conservation Leadership Program
Conservation Leaders in Training (L.I.T.)
Objective: Transition Alaska Zoo Adventure Campers into responsible, independent young wildlife conservation leaders. As a positive role model that fosters community and love for wildlife conservation and the Alaska Zoo. This program will help L.I.T.’s develop “life skill” tools that are useful for jobs and college applications.
Commitment: We ask for a pre-commitment of at least one full week of Adventure Camp. L.I.T’s are expected to attend each camp from the regular 9am-3pm hours.
Cost: $300/week (non-members) or $250/week (members). Payment will be taken upon acceptance into the L.I.T. program. Daily camp lunch and snacks are included.

Encourage proper behavior, manners and appropriate discussion
Assistance with facilitating educational based
Assistance with camp operations
Application: We will accept no more than two L.I.T.’s per camp week. Applications for each week must be completed at least one month prior to the requested camp week. If accepted into the Alaska Zoo Conservation Leadership Program, you are required to attend one, one hour training session before your participation on camp.
